Five trims of the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning are available for sale at Future Ford of Roseville, including the Pro, XLT, Flash, Lariat and Platinum. The Pro, XLT, and Lariat trims come standard with the 98-kWh battery pack, while the higher Flash and Platinum trims get more range with a standard 131-kWh battery pack. Let’s review the highlights of each trim below.
The Pro trim offers a strong mix of utility and modern tech. Standard features include 18-inch wheels, an electronic-locking rear axle, a Class IV trailer hitch, LED headlights, and keyless entry. Inside, the Pro comes equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, durable vinyl seating, a 12-inch infotainment screen with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a six-speaker audio system. It also includes eight household-style outlets and a full suite of driver-assist technologies such as automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and rear parking sensors. Upgrading to the XLT adds 20-inch wheels, Ford’s integrated tailgate step and work surface, cloth upholstery, push-button start, a power-adjustable driver’s seat and pedals, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Rear-seat passengers benefit from under-seat storage, while the cabin also gains satellite radio, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera. A 12-inch touchscreen remains standard, ensuring an intuitive tech experience. The Flash trim builds on the XLT with the extended-range battery for added capability. It also includes Pro Power Onboard, which supplies up to 9.6 kW of electricity through strategically placed outlets, making it a mobile power source for work or play. Tech upgrades include a larger 15.5-inch touchscreen, LED cargo bed lighting, an upgraded eight-speaker audio system, a heated steering wheel, and a wireless charging pad. Buyers can also opt for Ford’s available hands-free driving mode. Moving up to the Lariat means luxury becomes a stronger focus. This trim adds a power-operated tailgate, a power-sliding rear window, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, ambient interior lighting, and heated, power-folding, auto-dimming side mirrors. Rear parking sensors further improve confidence when maneuvering in tight spaces, while the interior delivers a premium look and feel. At the top of the lineup, the Platinum trim elevates the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning into luxury-truck territory. Highlights include massive 22-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, wood and metal interior trim, and upgraded leather upholstery. Comfort is maximized with massaging front seats, heated rear seats, and a powerful 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. The Platinum also offers a variety of optional cargo bed accessories and fold-flat front seats for added versatility. Advanced towing features come standard, including the Tow Technology Package with trailer-reverse assist, a trailer-brake controller, and onboard payload and tow weight sensors. The Max Trailer Tow Package—standard here and optional on other trims—unlocks the Lightning’s maximum 10,000-pound towing capacity and comes with the Ford Charge Station Pro home charging system.
