Before moving too far into 2012, Future Ford of Sacramento would like to take a moment to provide a quick recap of Ford 2011. After a few rough years, we are overjoyed to look back on the past 12 months and see that our favorite automaker is now moving along brilliantly. Record-breaking sales and new Ford model success seem to be the top themes. To give you a better picture however, we'll zoom in on a few particular highlights.
Giving cops everywhere extra motivation to work hard on the job, Ford announced that the Taurus Police Interceptor will replace the age-old Crown Victoria. Based on the Ford Taurus sedan, the crime-conscious model adds a V6 or "fire-breathing twin-turbo EcoBoost"1 to the chase.
Speaking of EcoBoost, Ford completely blew the minds of truck lovers everywhere and offered up its boosted 3.5-liter V6 for the performance-heavy Ford F-150. After pulling wild success from this move, the automaker also announced a roll-out of EcoBoost options with lower displacement for models like the Fusion and Escape.
In addition to garnering attention for its green technology, the automaker also turned heads with a Ford Mustang renaissance. First off, the model's 2015 upgrade sat at the center of much chatter. Auto enthusiasts tapped into the automaker's hints and extracted speculations regarding a new styling, lighter chassis and independent rear suspension. Further amplifying the Mustang buzz, Ford released an official statement for the 2013 Shelby GT-500 which is slated to be the most powerful production Mustang of all time.
Now, Future Ford of Sacramento could go on and on about all the specific features that Ford brought to the table and all the high-quality vehicle parts it delivered to dealership lots. But to save time, we'll just end by inviting you to stop by 4625 Madison Ave Sacramento, CA 95841 and talk to one of our brand ambassadors in person. That way you can ask any specific questions you may have and learn as much as you'd like!
