Thanks to the new "Ford Drives Box Tops" sweepstakes, when you test drive a new Ford model at Future Ford of Sacramento you can also help support local schools in the Sacramento area. This month and next, Ford is partnering up with Box Tops for Education and bringing families three new ways to raise money for their schools.

To earn credit, participants can do any of the following:

- Watch a Ford product video for 5 points
- Request a brochure online for 10 points
- Purchase a new Ford Vehicle such as the Ford Explorer for 250 points

In addition to the above, Box Tops for Education and Ford are also giving away 250,000 bonus box tops to a lucky winner. After completing credit-earning tasks, participants will receive a code from the automaker which they can trade in for "eBoxTops." By the end of the two month long program, Ford hopes to raise a grand total of one million dollars for schools.

"This is just another example of us going local and grassroots," said Ford Group VP Jim Farley. "It's a modern program in that it is so local and so authentic."¹

But like Farley said, this incredible initiative is just one example out of many. Earlier this year, the automaker donated $1.8 million to schools nationwide through its Drive One 4 UR School program. Since its inception four years ago, the program has contributed $5.5 million total to the education effort.
